Visiting a pediatric urgent care instead of the ER can help save you time and money. A kids’ urgent care can handle non-emergency situations, such as minor injuries, cuts, sprains, strains, and most common illnesses quickly and at a lower cost.
An ER visit can take hours and cost significantly more than an urgent care visit. However, the ER might be the best choice if your child needs emergency care for difficulty breathing or a severe injury.
