For some, an urgent care visit can be a stress-inducing experience. For those on the autism spectrum, the idea of meeting a doctor for the first time and being in a new, unfamiliar environment can create feelings of anxiety and overwhelm.
That is why we have partnered with Autism Speaks to help make our centers more accessible to neurodivergent patients and are happy to announce our official Autism-Friendly designation. This means our providers have completed special training, and our centers have been slightly modified to promote a safe, sensory-friendly environment so everyone can experience healthcare comfortably.
